Man arrested for kidnapping woman
Kokrajhar police have arrested a person three days after he allegedly kidnapped a married woman who was safely rescued.
The woman was rescued a couple of hours after the incident from Alomganj area under Gauripur poluce station of Dhubri distric and acting on het statement the person was arrested.
Identified as Sahidul Ali, he was picked up at Alomganj village in Gauripur after the rescue of the victim. According to all stations. Sahidul abducted the woman for extra marital life on September 3 morning and rescued by police after three days at Alomgaj.
Sahidul was arrested following an FIR lodged by Karabi's husband Sanjib Barman with Fakiragram PS,case no. 66/2017,under section 366.

KOKRAJHAR: Indonesian paragliders have won first prizes in the first-ever Bodoland international Paragliding accuracy championship-2019. The event concluded on Thursday after four day programme at Dangdupur Hill in Kokrajhar district.
68 participants from 11 countries participated in the championship and displayed their paragliding skills. 22 foreign paragliders participanted in the event.

KOKRAJHAR: The first-ever Bodoland International accuracy Paragliding championship-2019 began from Monday at Dangdupur Hill, Kokrajhar district. 68 participants, including nine countries, are participating the championship.
There are 22 foreign paragliders including four women in the international championship are from China (5), Indonesia (6), Nepal (4), Korea (5), Japan (1) and Taiwan (1). The host India have 46 participants who are coming from Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim.
