NEDA vows to dominate NE politics
BJP and many other like minded regional parties operating in the north eastern states at a huge convention in New Delhi on Tuesday solemnly vowed to make the entire region a Congress free one.
Presided over by party president Amit Shah, the North East Democratic Alliance convention discussed in detail both long term and short term strategies to allow the saffron party take a deep grip in the entire region where there states are going to the assembly polls early next year.
Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal, his Manipur counterpart T Biren Singh, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Nagaland chief minister TR Zeliang, Sikkim Chief Minister Pawan Singh Chamling attented meeting.
In his address, BJP chief Amit Shah said by the next year NEDA government will be there in the entire north eastern states. He said the next NEDA convention will see all eight north eastern chief ministers.

Chief minister Tarun Gogoi and APCC president Anjan Dutta are on a visit to New Delhi on Monday fetching a ray of hopes for the four lucky legislators who are waiting for ministeral berths. Gogoi is scheduled to attend the Congress president and chief ministers’ conference in the capital on Tuesday. He is likely to meet party high command in the sidelights of the conference seeking the approval to induct four new members in the cabinet. “Gogoi has earlier submitted the list of the lucky legislators.
