Bengali body demands CBI probe
The All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation (AIBYSF) and All Assam Bengali Youth Student's Federation (BBYSF) will stage sit-in-demonstration on September 7 at Dispur last gate in Guwahati demanding CBI probe into the Silapothar and Nagaon incident.
Speaking the News Conference held at Amala Bhawan in Kokrajhar on Sunday, Shyamal Sarkar, president of All India Bengali Youth Student's Federation and Deepak Dey, president of the Assam state federation demanded stern actions against incidents of Silapothar and Nagaon in the state.
The federation have condemned the Nagaon incident which had created resented among the citizens, said that it was created by some so called activities to indulge misunderstanding in the state. They accused of Chief Minister, who had well known about both incidents held at Silapothar and Nagaon, but yet he has been keeping silence into situations.

Kokrajhar, June 6: Two persons were seriously in a road mishap at Kajalgaon in Chirang district today. Witnesses said father-son duo identified as Sobin Basumatary and his son Ringsar were on way to UN Brahma College at Kajalgaon from Bijni in a bike bearing Registration No. AS-26 -0647 when a speeding Tata Sumo vehicle (AS-26-C-1027) hit them inuring both seriously. They were later admitted to a hospital in Bongaigaon.
