Girl gangraped, battling with life at GMCH

Yet another incident of gangrape sends no less shock and anger across the state on Thursday. The victim is battling to survive at the Gauhati Medical College Hospital. 

The incident took place in Tamulpur areas where the

local residents rescued a girl from a house where she was gangraped on Wednesday night. 

The villagers, further, caught one of the rapists to be thrashed before handing over to the police. The victim was initially rushed to a local hospital and then shifted to the GMCH. 

A police team is interrogating the arrested rapist to extract the inputs of the whereabouts of other perpetrators. Many local organizations have demanded exemplary punishment for the perpetrators.
