Massive road blockade in lower Assam

ABMSU along with several other organisations blocked the National Highway in several places in lower Assam districts on Saturday demanding Justice to Lafikul Islam Ahmed who was killed by unidentified on Aug 1 this month.

Many people from BTAD areas also joined it in Kajalgaon in Chirang,Gossaigaon in Kokrajhar district in presence of leaders and activists from  ABMSU,AAMSU,RMC,KMSS demanding CBI inquiry.

The agitators slammed the Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal for not taking positive initiative to nab the culprit.   

The ABMSU has also blockade national highway at Gossaigaon in Kokrajhar, Shaktala in Bongaigaon, Kadamtala in Baksa districts. The blockade hit transport community for two hour in the traffic communication on the day.Several truck and long distance buses have to stranded at different places in Kokrajhar, Chirang, Bongaigaon.
