Tangla College teachers observe Black Day

The Tangla College teachers also joined the nationwide Black Day called under the banner of the All India Federation of University & College Teachers' Organisation and Assam College Teachers' Association(ACTA) reiterating the demands

The college teachers  observed the day by wearing black badges and convening  meeting to discuss the demands of AIFUCTO on Tuesday . Samarjit Boro President presided over the meeting addressed by of the unit where the Anima Bhuyan Baruah and Dr.Kusum Goswami.

The strike was part of a Statewide observation of ACTA members for apathetic attitude of the State Government and Central governments to fulfilment of their 11 point charter demands long-pending demands, including implementation of the 7th revised UGC payscales.
