The Believers Church Diocese in Bongaigaon draws huge appreciation after they reached out to the flood hit people in the BTAD areas.

A team from the organization on Friday distributed some  food among the flood affected people at Chapaguri in Chirang district.

The materials included 40 quintal rice, 4 quintal Massor Dal, 10 quintal Potato, 2 quintal Iodine Salt, two hundred liters of mustard oil, 200 packets of candles, safety match boxes and bread for children.

Diganta Baishya, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Chirang, attending the distribution programme said, “ People coming here for some rice, dal and potatoes itself tells us the difficult times in your family due to the flood.

Believers Church Bongaigaon Diocese reaching out to flood affected inmates to grant a week ration at this time is quite commendable. Church is always doing charity work and will do continually.”
