16 injured in lightning

At least sixteen persons received serious injuries due to lightening at two different villages under Gurubasha police outpost in Chirang district late last evening.

According to source from the area, sixteen persons received injuries for heavy thunder and lightning yesterday afternoon.

The injures were immediately rushed the JSB Hospital, Kajalgaon, who were road construction labors nearby Gurubasha in Chirang district. Two of them are said to be critical.
