Mild tremor rocks Manipur
A 3.6 magnitude earthquake jolted Manipur on Sunday triggering the fear of the 2015 like one which caused huge damage to the northeastern state.
The earthquake, which originated in Ukhrul district struck the state at around 1.36 AM forced many people to wake up and the panic stricken people in the high rise buildings started coming down to the open space.
There is, however, no report of any casuslty or loss of property.

Four women were reportedly injured and at least four houses torched after two groups clashed over a land dispute in Machi Block under Tengnoupal Police Station of Tengnoupal district. The district administration imposed curfew in Machi village and Khudei Khullen following the incident that occurred around 10:30 am. Haijang Village Authority Kangpokpi district, Manipur urged the state government to look into the problem of earth crack in the area which has made houses to slide progressively. The earth crack within the 1 km radius of the village area continued to slide and now that the situation is more than alarming for the villagers. Most of the Manipur rivers were flowing close to danger level on Tuesday as heavy rains continued to lash the state since the last couple of days.
