ABSU BPF conflict takes turn in Udalguri

The ongoing tussle between ABSU and ruling BPF party has taken turn in Bhergaon sub-division in Udalguri district,both sides alleging each other in the multi crore PDS scam.The allegations of ABSU linking BTC Executive Member Lwmsrao Daimari and Deputy Speaker Nerson Boro in the multi crore PDS scam  in Bhergaon and Khoirabari blocks under Food and Civil Supply Department,BTC,has been refuted by the EM and Dy Speaker in a press meet held at sub-divisional HQ Bhergaon recently.Attacking ABSU leaders of Bhergaon sub-division,BTC EM Daimari said that a few ABSU leaders wanted to create chaos among people in order to malign his public image.He asked ABSU to expel the leaders for raising false allegation against him and Nerson Boro.He also threatened ABSU to take legal action against ABSU leaders.BTC Dy Speaker Nerson Boro also addressed the press meet.He condemned ABSU leaders for spreading rumors against BPF.


Following the BPF press meet,UPPL (United Peoples Party Liberal),an ABSU backed political party) Bhergaon District Committee in a press release dated July 18 expressed displeasure at the government for not taking action against persons involved in the hundred crore PDS scam in Bhergaon and Khoirabari blocks under the Food and Civil Supply Department. UPPL district secretary alleged that an amount of rupees thousand crore had been wasted or misappropriated in the PDS scam in all four districts in BTAD during last three years.He requested union government to order high level probe in the scam so as to book the culprits.
