Baneswar Basumatary ailing
Founder president of the All Bodo Students Union(ABSU) and noted writer Baneswar Basumatary is seriously ailing since few months. Basumatary,who is hailing from Koklabari of Baksa district has been ailing since few months. He is now senseless, passing days on bed. He was also one of the general secretary of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha, an apex body of Bodo literary.
Basumatary became president of the ABSU in 1967.
Several Bodo organisations,including ABSU,Bodo sahitya sabha have extended their wishes for early recovery of Basumatary. Former Rajya Sabha MP Urkhao Gwra Brahma also exprsses his prayer for his quick recovery.
