Police meet in Chirang

A high police officials from Chirang, Kokrajhar and Bongaigaon district meet was held at police guest house in Chirang district on Thursday. Kula Saikia, DGP (special branch) attended the meet and reviewed the law and order in the districts. Saikia held meeting with SPs of the lower Assam region. The meeting thoroughly discussed about operations against militants in the region, law and order situation and bringing a healthy society in the state, said a senior police official after the meeting.
