Protest to repair deplorable roads

The activists of All Bodo Students' Union (ABSU) Bhergaon anchalik committee in association with Bhergaon Taxi Automobile Association blocked Tangla-Bhergaon road near Harchrapara Fishery project from 10 am to 12 pm disrupting normal traffic on Tuesday. A mass all religious prayer signifying to give ample wisdom to local MLA,Executive Members of BTC and Member of Parliaments for immediate repair of the dilapidated Tangla-Bhergaon road was also held on the ocassion. A memorandum addressed to Chief Minister was also sent through the office of Bhergaon SDO(C). It is pertinent here to mention that the road which falls under 64 No. Panery LAC and No. 8 Mangaldai Lok Sabha Constituency is only motorable road connecting sub-divisional headquarter town Bhergaon with culturally inclined centre of trade and commerce and educational hub of Udalguri dstrict Tangla town. The road stretch is inaccessible with large potholes giving nightmare to commutters and students. The memoramdum has urged for immediate reconstruction of the road and make saffron party's much hyped slogan 'Sabka Saath Sabka Bikas' come true. Talking to The Sentinel Rinjoy Boro said," The BPF legilator of Panery LAC despite on her fourth consecutive term have failed to fulfill the hopes and aspirations of the common public. " "BJP parliamentarian of Mangaldai Lok Sabha Constituency Ramen Deka is least concerned about development in Bhergaon sub-division." Boro alleged.
