Iftaar party at Bara Masjid

An iftaar party was hosted here at Tangla Bara Masjid on Sunday evening. The party organised by reputed buisinessman Safdar Khan was attended by people from all walks of life.The gathering feasted on various delicacies including dates,fruits,sweets and other items.

"The feeling of happiness when we all break our fast together is indescribable" said Sanju Laskar a resident of the town. Fasting during Ramadan, which is one of the five pillars of Islam, is intended to teach a person discipline, help them reconnect with their spirituality, and remember those less fortunate.
