No salaries for teachers in BTC!

The BTC cell of Higher Secondary Teachers’ and Employees’ Association has expressed serious concern over the extraordinary delay in payment of last two months salaries to its teachers and employees serving in various educational institutions across four BTAD districts. A press release of the organization issued by its  secretary Davidson Daimari said that the  teachers and employees of the region were not paid their salaries for last two months in the BTAD region and as a result it created untold miseries to the government employees.

“Due to the unexpected delay in release of monthly salaries by the BTC government to its employees for last April and May and arrears of six months due to them, the employees have not been able to clear their dues to the LICI, various types of bank loans etc.” the press release informed.

He also pointed out that the state government had already released the fund of salaries to all its employees in the state and the employees in other part of the state were paid their salaries with arrears due to them except in BTC. He demanded that the BTC authority should understand the woes of the  teachers of the region and take prompt action to release their  salaries.
