Prof Rabin Dev Choudhury to attend GPC program

One of the pioneer art historian & curators of our time, Prof Rabin Dev Choudhury will attend the next ‘Guest of the Month’ program tomorrow (22 May 2017) at Guwahati Press Club. The interactive session with the former director general of National Museum of India will begin at 2.30 pm sharp and continue till 3.30 pm.

A soft spoken gentleman, RD Choudhury is presently associated with Indian Art History Congress and Itihas Sankalan Samity. He also served National Museum Institute, Tezpur University, Assam State Museum etc time to time. Some of his valuable creations include ‘Archaeology of the Brahmaputra Valley of Assam’, ‘Monuments of Assam’, ‘Museums of northeast India’, ‘A Source book of the numismatic studies in northeast India’, ‘Art history of Tripura’, ‘The hand-book of Assam State Museum’ etc.

Member-journalists of the press club are requested to participate in the session.
