Arms recovered

Police recovered two AK-47 along with four magazines, a 9 mm pistol and 32 round live ammunitions recovered at Tamulphur area on Sunday during search operation at a house Sungkhra Basumtary in Baksa district.

Based on input about illegally storation of arms,police carried out a search operation at Tamulphur and recovered arms along with live ammunitions.Sungkhra Basumatary is absconding since after incident.Investigation is on into incident,said a senior police officer.

The re-polling at 24-polling station at Kachugaon ME school under 28-Gossaigaon LAC was recorded of 88.15% poll and passed off peaceful, held on Sunday in tight security in Kokrajhar.
