Youth held for death threat to Zubeen

The Dibrugah police on Saturday arrested a youth a day after he threaten to kill Zubeen Garg who was arriving his hone town and performed for nearly three hours.

Identified as Tultul Baglary, he was caught in Barbarua area in the morning and was brought to the police station for interrogation which is going on.

A Facebook status warning that the singer would be shot dead from a point blank range went viral in the evening forcing the district authority to step up security in the function were the most popular singer was performing.

He received the death threat hardly a week after he stepped down from a stage in Guwahati for disallowing to perform in Hindi.
