Festival of peace and harmony begins

A three day colorful programme scheduled of the festival of peace and harmony has been kicked off from on Friday at Beswargaon village in Kokrajhar district.

 Over 10,000 delegate and 50,000 observers are attending the occasion from different states of the across the country. The festival venues have been decorated with beautiful arrangements to welcome delegate and observers.

 The festival has been organized by the National Bodo Christian Council (NBCC), an organization of different communities of Christ believers across the nation.

Delegate and observers are participating with enthusiastic on the occasion which has decorated beautiful scenes at the occasion venue. The session will be organizing several prayer sessions to bring peace and harmony among all sections of the society in the region.

'Peace and integrity building is the prime vision of the festival ', said B Mushahary, organizer of the festival.

Prof Dr Rajendra B Lal, VC, Sam Higginbotham University of Agriculture Technology & Science, Allahabad is attending as chief guest. BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary, BTC deputy chief Kampa Borgoyary, several ministers of Assam, included Pramila Rani Brahma, Rihan Daimary are to be graced as guests on the occasion.
