Teacher arrested

A teacher has been arrested by police for allegedly raped of a HSLC candidate under Fakiragram PS in Kokrajhar district on Tuesday. 

The teacher was identified as Gazi Rahman Paramanik, head teacher of Kachukata LP school under Fakiragram PS, who allegedly raped a HSLC candidate . Police apprehended Paramanik following an FIR lodged against him by victim girl, said a senior police officer. 

The incident was took place few three months back in Chitila area.
