Sonowal invites Modi to Assam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit Assam twice this year if he accepts the invitation from chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal.

Sonowal called on Modi in New Delhi on Wednesday and invited him to attend the Dhola-Saniya bridge opening ceremony next month. The chief minister further invited him to attend the global investment summit in Guwahati on November 9,10,11.
