Two women honoured with awards

Two business women were honoured with Aijw Palangi Bantha 2017 (Women Enterpreneur Award) on the occasion of International Day of Women’s at a programme held at Gwjwn Dera,Chandrapara in Kokrajhar district on Wednesday.

 The International Day of Women’s was celebrated at Chandrapara,which was organised by NERSWN NGO in Kokrajhar.Womens and young girls from different parts of the district participated on the occasion which saw integration of womens that witnesses of various competitions like music chair,spoons carrying,sports,cultural etc among womens on the day.Womens presented cultural showcase on the day to mark the celebrataion. Young womens hailed the day where they presented their talents with enthusiastic moments on the celebration.

Ramala Narzary of Kokrajhar town and Jilong Basumstary,Gurufela bazar are jointly awarded Aijw Palangi Bantha(Women's Entrepreneur Award 2017),which was constituted by NERSWN NGO. Both Ramala and Jilong deals in fish business in their respective bazars in Kokrajhar district since three decades.The awrad comsprises of cash 10,000, a citation and endi-showl.

Awards were given away by chief guest and invited guests on the occasion.Bibari Brahma,noted national Badminton player graced as chief guest,Dr Sujuta Bhadra,professor of Janata College,Serfanguri,Prof.Chirati Sawrgiyary,Janata College attended as guest with Pratibha Brahma,notd social activist in the chair on the occasion.

Raju Narzary,organiser of NERSWN NGO told that award has been giving way among women entrepreneurs who are coming with business in their life through which they have been maintaining families.
