The All Koch Rajbongshi Students Union(Pradip Ray faction) has warned to take up arms movement to put pressure for solving demnads of Scheduled Tribe(ST) status to the Koch Rajbonshis and Kamatapur state in the country.The students union alleged that BJP led government at centre and state have been tactically subsides the demands of the community.
Speaking the Reporters at a Press Conference held at Kokrajhar Press Club on Monday,Pradip Ray,president of AKRSU slammed the BJP led alliance government at Dispur and Delhi that government has yet to fulfill promises that kept during assembly elections to the demand and issues of the community. He said that the students unon has resolved to intensified vigorous mass movement seeking Scheduled Tribe (ST) status and Kamatapur separate state within Indian constitution after March 21 if government fail to hold tripartite talks on their demands by March 20. He demanded early solutions of issue and demands of the community.
He has alleged that state and centre government have been tactically delayed the issues of ST status granting and creation of Kamatapur state under Article 2 & 3 of the Indian constitution.The students union termed BJP led state government is misolia government because BJP party has failed to fulfill promises and commitment, which kept promises during elections. Ray announced series of agitation programmes seeking ST status,Kamatapur state,which included 36-hours proposed Kamatapur and Assam bandh on March 21,National Highway blockade for 12-hours o March 30,Railway blockade for 12 hours on April 12 next, 100 hours Chakka bandh on April 24 next.
