Call to ban violent video games

A protest rally was organized today from the gates of Guwahati Press Club to create awareness for ban against toy weapons and violent Video games. It assumes special attention and urgency in the perspective of attempts by various militant outfits abducting kids and children and training them to be future extremists cadres. Especially in the North Eastern State of India extremists groups have been reported forming children's force which has given alarming rise to abduction of children.

Distinguished citizens, musicians, artists, sculptors, education and people who have impact on the society took part in the rally. Musician Kishore Giri while talking to this correspondent said that "Toy weapons and Violent video games are the fundamental of Children extremist group and it is very important that parents refuse buying or encouraging playing with it on any ground otherwise we will need to worry about our generation"

People from all section hailed the rally and unanimously extended their support.
