Borgos turns into Kohima

Borgos, a resort adjacent to the Kaziranga National Park suddenly struck the attention of all political leaders in the north eastern region. On Saturday, the resort turned into the hub of all political activities to end the dead lock in Nagaland.

As many as forty NPF legislators have hunkered down on Saturday to bring back Neiphu Rio as new Chief minister in lieu of TR Zeling who is set to put in papers bowing down to mounting pressure from a few civil society organizations for the reservation logjam.

Forty MLAs are believed to have backed Rio whom they expelled last year alleging anti party activities. Now BJP leadership in New Delhi have suggested the NPF legislators to back Rio as chief minister.

On Sunday Zeliang is also set to join the meeting at Borgos in favour of Rio paving the Lok Sabha MP to be back to Kohima as Chief minister.
