Lieztietsu to replace Zeliang

In a move that can help Nagaland heave a sigh of relief from the indefinite shut down call, the NPF legislators have elected the party president Shurhozelie Lieztietsu as the head of the team.

The party MLAs are preparing to go down to the Raj Bhawan immediately after the arrival of governor PB Acharya who is in Delhi along with TR Zeliang.

The new chief minister is expected to take oath of office and secrecy on Friday or Saturday.

Zeliang and Acharya have apprised the Centre of the simmering situation following the ongoing indefinite shut down opposing 33 per cent reservation in the polls.
