Former Cong legislator arrested

The Arunachal police have grilled Sanjay Raj Subba in connection with a cheating and fraud case after they arrested the former Congress MLA from Naoboisa on Thursday.

A team of police from Sepa rushed to Subba’s residence in Harmoti in the morning and lifted him to be arrested. One of his close associates is still on the run.

According to allegations, Subba took Rs 50 lakh as bride from a contractor in Arunachal Pradesh promising award if contract which was not materialized. Then the contractor filed a complaint in the police station where the three tine MLA was arrested.
