Hagrama terms 2017 lucky for BPF

BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary has termed the 2017 year is lucky year for BPF party because former BPF leaders returned their home with party supporters on the first day of 2017.

Mohilary welcomed with traditional Aronai former party leaders, included former Tamulpur MLA Chandi Basumatary, former BTC executive member Mono Kumar Brahma and several members from different parties joined the party at a meeting held at Daoki Park along Gaurang River in Kokrajhar district on Sunday.

Mohilary welcoming new member and leaders joined the party from different parties,included Congress,UPPL,AIUDF said that it is a good sign for political development in the region because former leaders of the party rejoined the party.

‘The 2017 year is a lucky year as BPF party has got back our leaders,who left the party in earlier manner.Today,we have been gaining more strength with getting back of fomer leaders within the party’,he said. He said that his BPF party and BTC administrator was working for all round development for the region. Mohilary has also declared his decision to leave cigarette smoking habits in his life from today marking the happy new year celebration.He said that he used to smoke since few 4-5 years in his life and today left habits of smoking,but used of betelnuts would be remained. He has also urged citizens to avoid used of smoking in the region.

Mohilary extending his new year greetings to all citizens of the state said that may the new year bringing a healthy integration among all sections of communities. He has urged NDFB-S to come to the main stream and meet healthy welfare of the region. On the cabinet expansion, Mohilary said BPF is getting one more ministerial berth in the state government.He said that alliance government at Dispur was working for uplift of social development and integration in the state.

Mohilary also announce of providing 10 lakhs garnts and aid to Super Dancer Masoom Narzary from BTAD administration. Mohilary extending his new year greetings to all citizens of the state said that may the new year bringing a healthy integration among all sections of communities through which region will be getting healthy living.

Forest minister Pramila Rani Brahma attending the celebration extended new year greetings to all citizens of the state and sounded to the conservation and protection of wild life,included one horn Rhino. She said state government has been working hard to protect wild life,and publics support and cooperation also needed while tackling the conservation and protection.

Former BTC executive member Mono Kumar Brahma,who joined the BPF party said that seeing peace and integrity in the region,I rejoined the ruling BPF party. Brahma left the party March of 2015 ahead BTC election after declined party ticket to contest council election.

Former Tamulpur MLA Chandi Basumatary joined the party said that he has returned his former home because he was the member of the same home.He had left the BPF party in 2006, won MLA from Tamulpur LAC independent.

Leaders and members from different parties who joined the BPF, included Sanjita Basumatary, APCC secretary, Rakesh Basumatary, president Chirang district Congress committee, Ashok Borgoyary, president of Kokrajhar district Congress committee, Dahit Brahma, Rajaram Basumatary, AIUDF leaders are prominents.

A new year celebration function was organised at Daoki Park in Kokrajhar to mark the first January of 2017.Super Dancer Masoom Narzary and her parents were also given warm felicitated on the occasion.Msoom presented a beautiful dance showcase on the occasion.

Kampa Borgoyary, BTC deputy chief,Rajib Brahma, Doneswar Goyary,BTC executive members were prominent attendees on the celebration.

KOKRAHAR: A sense of alarm has gripped the Jharbari area after a timber smuggler was discovered dead in a firing incident during the early hours of the morning in Kokrajhar.
