Rajya Sabha MP of BPF Biswajit Daimary expresses concern over recent killing Ratna Narzary,an innocent villager of Bengtal Kumguri of Chirang district at an fake encounter by security forces at Laopani area of Kokrajhar district.
Daimary,who is also BPF secretray while talking exclusively with Assam Times today on the eve of Happy New Year 2017 in Kokrajhar said that killing of innocent villager in the name of militant cadres searching was unwanted that created resented among citizens in the region during search operation carried out by security forces. He said he knew about incident while villagers took out a protest rally at Bengtal on Thursday after Ratna was killed on Wednesday. He said that immediately intimated to Chief Minister about incident and CM declared an inquiry into incident through Lower Assam Commissioner.He has urged government to take stern necessary messures while restoring peace and integration among all sections of communities,besides citizens must be consciousness while creating healthy situation.
Daimary said that his party BPF is getting one more ministerial berth in the cabinet expansion as party has completed its consultation with alliance parties.
‘We are happy with getting one more ministerial berth in the Sarbananda Sonowal led alliance government in Dispur, of which why party will decide to whom ministerial would be given after getting final nod from government’, Daimary said.
On the Hindu Bangladeshi issue,he said that it is centres’ move,not from state government.But,we must be conscious over Assam’s interest so that our integration and unity should not be face any hardship. Daimary extending Happy New Year 2017 best wishes to all citizens of the state said that hope the ‘New Year’ will be bringing more unity and integrity among all sections of communities along with more developmental spririts.He said that his BPF party will be more busy while building deveopmental work in the region in coming days so that citizens of the region be getting more healthy environment with peace and prosperity.
