AJYCP thrashes RSS

RSS seems to have invited more and more wrath for its highly questionable presence at the Kareng Ghar premises. The Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuva Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) has raised doubts over the intention of the organization where activists recently thronged the historic premises raising Bharat Mata Ki Joi slogan.

In a statement issued to media in Guwahati on Friday, AJYCP president Biraj Kumar Talukdar slammed RSS alleging that the hue and cry at the Kareng Ghar premises has generated no less undercurrent of hatred and disturbance among the people in the area.

Taking a dig at RSS for the Bharat Mata Ki Joi sloganeering Talukdar said, “Since the people of Assam are firstly proud of their identity as Assamese and Bharat Mata Ki Joy is quite irreverent in this context.”

The AJYCP president alleged that the organization was trying to mix history with religious sentiment and that it could foment any trouble anywhere and at anytime.

Talukdar warned RSS to refrain from these activities in future and questioned its silence in the time of flood.

“Adequate rainfalls keep Assam clean on every passing day and hence any cleanliness drive does not make any sense. A questionable cleanliness drive by a bunch of people from RSS seems to have misled the youths of Assam and hence the entire campaign was not more than a circus,” said Talukdar.

“After decades of conspicuous silence and ignorance, why RSS should take care of the monument after so many decades and who allowed them?,” he wondered.

The Karbi Longri National Liberation Front (KLNLF) is also likely to follow the suit. The surrender process is expected to be completed by September 25.

More than one hundred cadres on Tuesday left for the designated camp at Thanalasa ME School with a huge cache of arms and ammunition inside 8 boxes. This is how, more and more Black Widow cadres are joining the mainstream which began on on Sunday who are keeping at the Redcross Building at Jatinga. The entire process is being led by 2nd lieutenant David Dimasa.

Official sources say, the DHD(J) cadres have so far deposited AK rifle 70, M-16 rifle, 16, pistol 15, M-12 rifle 5, SLR 4, 303 rifle 4 along with 3 US carbine, 3 lathod guns, 3UMG, and a rocket launcher. In yet another development, the KLNLF rebels who have been mongering trouble for the last several years in Karbi Anglong district are contemplating to follow the suit.

According to information, top Karbi rebel leaders are in touch with Assam's top ranked police officers which began very recently in Guwahati. If these so happen, the KLNLFD rebels would also have to completely surrender before the authorities.
