Free Medical and Veterinary civic action programs organized at Dadgiri with the help of medical officer and veterinary doctor of 15 Bn SSB and sector head quarters Bongaigaon on 20/12/16. More than 450 patients and farmers of nearby villages such as Dadgiri, khagrabari, sonapur, Aiepolly, Hatisar, Embark, phulbari , etc got the free medicines and benefited. During the inauguration A.K.C.Singh commandant addressed the poor border villagers to remained healthy in both physical and mental. Thereafter distributed volley balls and nets to the 6 clubs of the surrounding villages and appealed the youth to keep sports as physically and economically sound. The Assam state election commission announced the date and scheduled for the by-election for No.22 Koklabari constituency in Bodoland Territorial Region on 8th June.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, Assam's state election commissioner, Alok Kumar issued the notification for conduct the bye poll for Koklabari constituency in Baksa district with effect from Thursday. The last date of nomination is fixed on 23rd May, and scrutiny is on 24th May. The election will take place on June 8th and counting will be held on June 12th.
