APSC scam: another member arrested

The police team probing the APSC scam has arrested yet another member of the state autonomous body that selects candidates for the various Government departments.

Identified as Basanta Doley, he was picked up on Monday charging him with destroying some crucial official documents after the police arrested chairman Rakesh Paul.

A team of senior police officers has been interrogating Doley accusing him of destroying the evidence by setting on fire a heap of crucial documents saying that these were unwanted.

More APSC officials are likely to be arrested in this connection.
