One of the senior most editor-journalists of Assam, Tilak Hazarika, 95, expired last night at GNRC hospital (Dispur campus). Hazarika, who was admitted to the hospital on 18 September, breathed his last at 12.50 am on 22 October. The former editor of Asom Bani and Sadin was not feeling well for some time due to age related ailments.He will be paid last tributes by the media fraternity at Sadin-Pratidin house and later in Guwahati Press Club at around 11 am before his cremation at Navagraha.
