Former Assam Chief Minister Prafulla Kumar Mahanta had a narrow escape when his convoy met with a road mishap in Golaghat on Saturday.
The mishap took place just a stone’s throw distance from the Golahat town where he was on the way. Suddenly, the vehicle carrying met with the mishap where he sustained mild injury.
According to report, Mahanta is out of danger and he was required only preliminary treatment.

The Centre on Thursday said that ULFA 'general secretary' Anup Chetia would soon be brought back from Bangladesh.
