MP Sarania’s effigy hangs

Hundreds of activists from PJACM,ABSU and several organizations shouted slogans against Lok Sabha MP Naba Kumar Sarania(Hira Sarania) and hangs his effigy along flyover near Tengapara today in Kokrajhar in protest against anti-Bodoland remarks recent in the state.

Agitated protestors with placards shouted slogans Sarania murdabad,Sarania go-back,stop anti-Bodoland remarks and hanged his effigy openly along flyover.

Protest wave come after few days that Sarania said he would not let to create Bodoland state until his MP tenure in the state. He voiced against Bodoland issue.

Gorjon Moshahary,deputy chief convenor of PJACBM slammed the Sarania told that being a tribal member of the parliament Sarania’s remarks on Bodoland was unfortunate and unwanted.

“Sarania should know, how he was elected from a reserved Lok Sabha seat of Kokrajhar.He belonged to Boro Kochary community,so he has to acknowledge about values and integration of Bodoland,but he unfortunately voicing against Bodoland issie”, Moshahary said.

‘We are demanding creation of Bodoland separate state under Article 2 & 3 of Indian constitution to meet good governance in the region’, he said.

He has urged MP Sarania to avoid anti-remarks on Bodoland issue, others Bodos would be compelled to take indefinite economic blockade against MP across the state.
