Cheque distributed

A total 156 beneficiaries were given way cheque under Project Ashyas from Assam police, those are violent victims today at a programme held at Kokrajhar Police station in Kokrajhar district.

Each of beneficiaries was given way cheque of Rs.12, 000 as per their family childrens taking educational maintenance.

Prakash Medhi, Kokrajhar DSP graced the function as guest and distributed the cheques among beneficiaries in the district.

‘The Project Ashyas has been giving facilitating financial supports to the violent victims’ families so that their children can take educational careers in their life’,said a senior official of police administration.
