Two persons died on the spot due to road mishap at Joypur along 31 C National Highway in Kokrajhar district on Saturday afternoon. According to eye witness, two persons on a bike met collided with an oil tanker at Joypur Dhanpur along National Highway under bishmuri police outpost around 2.30 pm in Kokrajhar where two persons died on the spot. They were identified as Manojit Narzary (23) and Swapan Basumatary (27). They were on way to Bishmuri from Kokrajhar town. Later, oil tanker surrendered to police at Shyamtaibari under Gurubasha police outpost in Chirang. The tanker’s registration number was NL-0L-L3800 was bound for Bongaigaon.
