Participants from Bodoland Territorial Council Kickboxing Association and Assam Kickboxing Association spotted first position with winning 19 and 6 medals respectively in the recent concluded National Kickboxing Championship held at Rajib Gandhi Indoor stadium, Kochi in Kerala.
Bodoland participants won 8 gold, five silver and six bronze medals while Assam won three gold, a silver and two bronze in the championship.
The championship was held from August 22-25 where Bodoland participants presented their best performance which earned 19 medals scripting first spot in the country, said Nripendra Chandra Roy, president, BTC Kickboxing Association.
He has thanked participant and medal winners for their good medal earn in yr championship.
