ABSU voices against gambling

The Tangla regional committee of ABSU (All Bodo Students' Union) has raised its voice against the illegal gambling activities like dice playing in the on going Mina Bazaar Mela at Bordoloi Bhavan premises of Tangla. The Tangla regional committee Gen.secretary Mrinal Kachari has written a complaint letter informing the gambling activities to the authorities but  the aware citizens have questioned the role of police and district administration as it seemed they remained mute spectator to these illegal activities.It sent copy of  the complaint letter to SDPO Bhergaon,SDC Harisinga Rev. Circle Tangla,OC Tangla Police Station, Chairman Tangla Town Committee,President/Secretary of Bordoloi Bhawan Tangla and President/Secretary Tangla Chambers of Commerce. "Gambling activities destroys the young generation.  Such gambling in the heart of the town under the nose of the administration should be stopped for the greater interest of the society.
