Rise in mercury makes people life difficult

Tangla town and most of its sub-urbs  reeled under a scorching sun for the second consecutive day today. So much so that the day is feeling like that of a sizzling summer.As mercury level rose by  most of the people prefered to stay indoors unless they have urgent works outside. If they have to attend works outdoors, they hurried to finish them as early as possible.
As per accuweather a google weather app reported  the maximum temperature in Tangla on Thursday at 39 degree Celsius, it is claimed to be the highest temperature in recent years.
“The sun is burning so bright that it feels like as if it is the heat usually experienced in North India. I have opted to stay indoors today to avoid the scorching sun,” said Safdar Khan a businessman. He is not the only one to avoid venturing outdoors today. The streets of Tangla wore a deserted look throughout the day. Businesses establishments and shop-keepers in the town were seen  lazing their time away.
It was definetly a good day for the outlets of tender coconuts, soft drinks, ice-creams, and sugar cane juice sellers as they were mushrooming on roads with good number of people queing for sipping on them and reliving themselves. 
With the sky showing hardly any trace of clouds, people are expecting solace in  that there will be rain  towards today evening.
