Tailoring training camp concludes at Tangla

A ten day tailoring training camp concluded at Towkonkata on the outskirts of Tangla on Sunday. The camp was organized under the aegis of Srishti NGO in joint collaboration of Department of Social Welfare of the state government from 2nd August 12th August.The concluding day of the programme was presided over by Padma Rabha,Chairman Kacharitol VCDC,Udalguri.

Attending the programme as distinguished guest senior journalist Dhaneswar Rabha said" To be self-dependent skill development among the rural folks specially women is needed. He expressed his gratitude towards the NGO for organizing the training camp aiming to help the rural women folks to solve the monetary crisis and thereby make them self-dependent .A total of 40 women took part in the training camp. The women were handed over certificate of participation and prizes for best performance.

The programme was earlier inagurated by village headmen Dimbeswar Boro. Instructor Krishna Bora and Khargeswari Rabha trained the women.
