Journalists’ Forum Assam appeals to the people of northeast India in general and media fraternity in particular to hoist the national flag on the occasion of Independence Day and pay homage to the martyrs of freedom movement.
Ridiculing the diktat of some separatist militants for their call of total shutdown on Monday, the media forum urges each and every patriotic citizen of the region to come forward and celebrate the I-Day with fanfare.
