AKRSU foundation day

The 26th foundation day of All Koch Rajbongshi Students’ Union (AKRSU) begins from today at Kalipukhuri with two day scheduled programme in Kokrajhar district. 

On the first day today, AKRSU president Hiteswar Barman hoisted organisational flag, followed by floral tributes to the martyrs by AKRSU secretary Trilokya Roy.

An exhibition showcasing the culture and tradition of the community was also showcase which was inaugurated by Dr Hemanta Baruah, vice chancellor of Bodoland University.

A delegate session was also held later in the day.

KOKRAHAR: A sense of alarm has gripped the Jharbari area after a timber smuggler was discovered dead in a firing incident during the early hours of the morning in Kokrajhar.
