Three NDFB-S linkmen held

At least three linkmen of NDFB(S) were apprehended along with cash 91,000 by police in last 48 hours from different places of Kokrajhar district during the search operation conducted against militant outfits.

Meanwhile,top leaders of the NDFB(S) have been facing financial crisis in their maintaining camp and activities carried since few months,police high officials claimed. Dr LR Bishnoi,ADGP,Assam while addressing the reporters on Monday at SP office in Kokrajhar told that Kokrajhar district police launched a massive search operation along Kokrajhar,Kachugaon and Gossaigaon PS in the district and able to apprehend three link-men of the NDFB-S militant outfit in the last 48 hours. They were apprehended following watch over ground worker of the NDFB-S when they had come to deposit cash that were collected through extortion and other illegal means under the direction reach from Dwimalu,self-styled Finance secretary of the militant organisation,who are living in Myanmar. They were identified as Jaharlal Borgoyary,Nimesius Iswary and Laoga alias Birkolas Narzary.Cash 91,000,three mobile handsets,five SIM cards and some objectionable documents were recovered from their possession.

Bishnoi said police has been intensified search operation against militant outfit in the region.He said that presently top leaders are living in Myanmar and Bhutan at a financial hardhsips because police administration has been kept close watch on militant outfits. He said active cadres of the NDFB-S like Sandw, Agwn, Sudem, Jwngsar, Phungkhw, all cronies of Bidai and Batha had collected money from hapless victiom and were siphoning funds to the banned outfit in the cash-strapped camp in Myanmar because of the continued successes of Assam police ad other security forces.
