Squad named for Tong-IL-Moo-Do Federation Cup declared

A 24 member team along with three officials’ squad have been named from Bodoland Tong-IL Moo-Do Association to participate in the 2nd Tong-IL-Moo-Do Federation Cup 2016 to be held from July 30 next at Nehru Stadium,Margao in Goa.

Participants from Bodoland taking part in several category’s competition in the cup,included senior, junior,sub junior.The cup has been organised by Goa Tong-IL-Moo-Do Association with to-day programme scheduled on July 30 and Agust 1 next.

A felicitation programme cum interaction session with participants was organised on Wednesday at Bodoland Taekwondo Association ground with Sewli Mohilary,president of the association in the chair and partcipants were felicitated with jersy on the occasion.

Jutika Brahma,secretary of the association said that Bodoland’s participants are participating the federation cup,being organising in Goa for the first time ever.She said altogether twenty one players are participating the competition where they will perform their best performance in the competition. Jajnabati Basumatary,BTC CHD for Sports & Youth welfare was also present on the occasion. The squad includes-Sanjay Narzary,Mukul Basumatary,Arbinda Basumatary,Akash Kohli,Surojit Roy,Sandeep Kalita,Bikram Basumatary,Jwngsar Brahma,Chandrakanta roy,Habul Hembrom,Sirbash Barman,Mangal Kisku,Amit barmna,Mahibul Alam,Durga Mandal,Ratna Ray,Janali Brahma,Bapen Ray,Nabajyoti ray,Minbahadur Chetry,Diptansu Dey;Biswajit Roy(coach),Bilu Kumar Brahma(team manager) and Ashok Barman(official).
