Man jumped to death in Gaurang River pond

It is a sensational and rare incident took place that a resident of Ward No. 2 in Kokrajhar town, Bikash Kar, 22-years-old was found jumped to death in nearby Gaurang River pond due to family quarrel, whose body was recovered this morning around 9 am in Kokrajhar.

According to Anil Kar, father of Bikash, a family quarrel was occurred in their family on Tuesday night and then he ran away to the Gaurang River pond side where he jumped and went missing till yesterday,but today his body was recovered. The incident took place around 10.30 pm on Tuesday and immediately searching was conducted to fish out, traced was not reached till last night. He had followed his son Bikash after quarrel, but could not protect him and since then his son remained under water. Local peoples along the pond told that villager and police have been conducted search to fish out since after incident,but today recovered body after his body come out of the water on the pond.Police said that police administration also searched to fish out repetaedly after getting information about incident and today recovered his body from the pond.
