Assam Minister for Forest and Environment Pramila Rani Brahma has vowed that illegal encroachment along the forest across the state would be checked and measures be taken to the greater interest to protect forest and wildlife.
Brahma reached today around 11.30 am in Kokrajhar at her constituency after taking oath as Cabinet Minister where party leader,member and welwishers accorded warm welcome her at BPF party office and at her residence at Bagansali along the RNB Road. Brahma’s house was decorated with beautiful colouring of flower, and fire crackers were also bursted on the arrival of minister. Brahma reaching her residence offered prayer to the almighty god besides offereing homage to her husband late Nani Gopal Brahma in front of her home. Government officials from Forest and Soil conservation departments also felicitated minister with traditional Aronai,Gamocha,boquet,flower in a merry making moment where a band party displayed their welcome band to the minister’s arrival.She said that she would stress to the safe and protection of natural beauty of the Forest and famous one-horned rhino would be protected at any cost. She said that illegal encroachment along the forest area in the state would be checked and strong measures will be initiated to the greater interest of the state.
Pramila Rani Brahma,Assam Forest Minister said that protection of forest and rhino is the prime priority of her ministry and illegal encroachment in the forest land would checked, no compromise during her tenure.
“I am very concern about deforestation in the state, I have a dreamt to protect forest,wildlife and rhino because Assam state has been regarded very much famous for rhino across the world. We must safe beautiful forest and rare one-horned rhino at any cost. I will coordinate with Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal while taking measures towards protection and safeguard of the natural resources to gain state’s integration in days to coming”, she said.
