APCU media talk on 30 May

Assam Press Correspondents’ Union has organized a media talk on 30 May at its head office in Champak Nagar locality of Guwahati. Senior journalist Nava Thakuria, writer Dr Akashitora with few others will attend the meet as resource persons. The participants will also be administered the second dose of Hepatitis-B vaccine, which has been sponsored by Assam’s well known Dispur Hospitals.

APCU president Manoj Singh, executive president Mousamjyoti Baishya and secretary general Hemanta Saikia have invited all of their members from different parts of Assam to the meeting. They also extended greetings to the new chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal and expressed hope that he would take necessary initiatives for safeguarding the interest of working journalists of the State in general and rural reporters in particular.
