BPF convention from May 13

A massive preparation has got underway to hold 3rd triennial convention of the rulling Bodoland Peoples’ Front (BPF) with two-day long programme scheduled at Bodofa Cultural complex in Kokrajhar,beginning from May 13.

Over six thousand delegate and party workers from different district committees are participating the convention and several deep discussion and resolutions on the social upliftment and party integration would be held.

BTC executive member and BPF party leader Doneswar Goyary while speaking the reporters at the convention venue told that the preparation has been got underway to hold the convention in smooth manner. Delegate and party members are participating the convention from different district committees and joining hand to the discussion on social development during the delegate session of the convention,Goyary said.

On the first day of the convention on May 13,BTC executive member Bonjar Daimary would inaugurate a Langdang Gaan. BPF president Hagrama Mohilary will hoist party flag,Chandan Brahma,MLA and ex-Minister will paid home on May 14 on the concluding day of the convention.

Reacting to the AIUDF chief Budruddin Ajmal’s eyeing to form third front government at Dispur,Goyary said that thre is no possibility of forming third front government to be led by AIUDF party in the state. The BJP-BPF-AGP alliance party is winning largest majority seats in the election,so eyeing of third front in the state would not be come true,he added.
