Raj Babbar campaigns for UPP

Actor turn politician and Congress MP Raj Babbar campaigned for UPP candidate Urkhao Gwra Brahma for Kokrajhar west LAC at Chautara ground on Friday in Kokrajhar district. Babbar, was accompanied by Asssam Minister and senior Congress leader Siddique Ahmed landed in a chartered Helicopter.

Babbar addressed the well attended gathering said the the Congress and UPP party has been contesting the election in alliance to defeat the BJP led alliance party in the state. He said that the Congress party stressed to build a healthy state involving social uplift among all sections of communities.

Babbar alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is holding PM of the India has only been publishing his lectures through attending public gathering across the country. His lecture was sweet to hear for common masses, but implementation of the launched scheme and programmes have been zero percent in the state, Babbar added.

He has claimed that the government would be formed by alliance of Congress and UPP party in the state, because his party is winning in large number of seats in both the phase of assembly polls. He has appealed to all sections of communities to vote for Congress-UPP alliance candidates across the state to meet healthy social integration.

Assam Minister and senior Congress leader Siddique Ahmed, addressing the campaign termed that the BJP led alliance and AIUDF has been defeating in the people's mandate as common voters vote for the Congress party candidates all over the state. He said that his party Congress and UPP party is forming alliance government at Dispur with no doubt. Ahmed made humble appeal to all sections of voters to vote UPP candidate in the election.

UPP president and party candidate for Kokrajhar west LAC Urkhao Gwra Brahma said his party is contesting in 14 seats all over the BTAD region and winning in 7-8 seats in huge margin votes. He said that he is winning from the Kokrajhar west seat as no candidate is seeing to contest with him nearest.

'My candidature winning is sure with no doubt because irrespective of caste, creed and languages are supporting me and stepping to vote to the party candidates in the election', said Brahma.
